head unit. With USB you get convenient control so you can scroll through

iPod/iPhone Passenger Control
Friends managing music in your car earning the coveted passenger seat
just got easier. The CDE-123 has “Passenger Control Mode” that gives
the passenger direct control of the tunes directly from the iPod’s or
iPhone’s menu. The driver still has play/pause, track up/down, and
volume control right from the CDE-123’s faceplate. When the driver
wants to take control again, a 1 second press of the volume knob
switches back to direct iPod control from the CDE-123’s menu.
Front and Rear USB Inputs
With two dedicated USB inputs and USB cable, you can even connect
iPods, iPhones, USB memory devices like thumbdrives and USB hard drives.
Song lists on USB devices are displayed in alphabetical order, and
allows eight levels of file / folder search capabilities. This unit will
find music files while ignoring other file types on the USB device.
Note: MP3 device or cell phone cannot be independently controlled through the head unit.
Percentage Search
For especially big music libraries, Percentage Search function uses
the preset buttons for quick jumps to specific parts of the list. Save
yourself from scrolling through each song one by one, when you can just
jump to a segment of your library with a touch of a button.

technology, you'll be able to find what you want, the quickest and

Built-in Equalizer
Select from 10 different EQ modes to get the best sound from all your
sources. (Flat/Pops/Rock/News/Jazz/Elec Dance/Hip Hop/Easy
Lis/Country/Classical). If the Equalizer presets aren’t enough for your
listening taste, there’s a 3-Band Parametric Equalizer you can adjust
for a better sound response curve. The setting – Bass, Mid and Treble-
can be adjusted in the 3-Band Parametric mode.
